MuskarTech: an AI and software company that builds its own products

MuskarTech is a technology company based in Istanbul. We build software products of our own, research applied artificial intelligence in our Labs, and take on selected client projects in AI, MVP and SaaS development. This post is the short version of who we are.

What MuskarTech builds

Our work sits in three places, and they feed each other.

Products. We build and run our own software. Two products are in closed beta today:

• Kontrolvar is an inspection and audit web app for multi-branch businesses and franchise chains. It turns an operating standard into custom checklists, compares results across branches, and turns findings into corrective tasks with photo evidence and automatic PDF reports.
• RentHub is general-purpose rental management software. It keeps inventory, bookings, contracts and payments in one system, so rental businesses can move off notebooks and spreadsheets.

Labs. MuskarTech Labs is where ideas are tested before they become products. The AI Lab is currently working on visual product search: a computer vision model that finds which product you are looking for from an ordinary photo. Labs also ships smaller tools such as CipherPass, a Chrome extension that generates a unique password for every site without storing anything.

Services. The same team helps other companies with AI and automation integration, MVP and technical consulting, and custom web and SaaS development.

Why products come first

Plenty of companies can build software for someone else. Fewer have to live with what they build. When you run your own product, every unclear screen and every shortcut comes back to you as a support question or a churned customer. That feedback loop is the reason we put products at the centre.

It also makes our client work better. When we build for a client, we build as if we were the ones maintaining it next year.

Where AI fits

We describe MuskarTech as an AI and software company, and we mean both halves. Most of the value in business software still comes from getting the basics right: clear workflows, reliable data, fast pages. AI earns its place where it removes real work, such as recognising a product in a photo, classifying documents, or searching a large catalogue by meaning instead of keywords.

That is the bar we hold in the AI Lab: a model is useful when it solves a task people actually have, and it ships only after it has been measured on an evaluation set.

How we work

We work in a loop of four verbs: observe, design, build, refine. We start where the work happens, reduce a problem to the few decisions that matter, ship small releases to real users and keep improving what is already in use.

We also try to be plain about what we claim. You will not find inflated numbers or borrowed logos on this site. When something is in beta, we say so.
